David Archuleta suddenly has great value at Bodog Life. After being a favorite along with David Cook, he now pays $3 for every $2 bet following Tuesday night's performance show.

Yesterday David Archuleta chose safe and familiar songs starting with Stand By Me. A recent post on The Huffington Post, a noted archival site for all things Idol, noted: "David Archuleta's going to win American Idol — you may as well get that through your head right now."

David Archuleta's fan base is nothing if not loyal and voal. He's only 17, and in a the dark, cynical world in the recording industry, David stands out like a beacon of hope.
