"Dana White Can Kiss My...." Sparky Collins Comes to Calvin Ayre's Defense

The war of words just got much uglier between UFC President Dana White and BodogFight founder Calvin Ayre (in more ways than one) as Gambling911.com reporter Sparky Collins issued a stern response to White's comment about Ayre being "a criminal".

Collins, a complex progressive anatomy challenged reporter for Gambling911 and friend of Calvin Ayre, came to his defense on Tuesday.

"Calvin, I know him for a few years now," said Sparky, who arrived in the United States from Cuba on a raft to escape the Fidel Castro regime. "You don't know criminals Mr. White. My friend (Calvin), he can travel anywhere he want to. It is nice you sit in your big home making comments about people not allowed to come to the United States and leave their own countries. Most people in the world don't have the privileges you do and were not born with a silver spoon in their mouths and a head up their ass."

Sparky, while residing in Cuba made only a mere $135 a month salary working as a resort employee.

White during an interview recently referred to Ayre as "That criminal" and implied he cannot enter the United States. Ayre, as part of the online gambling sector, has steered clear of US soil following the noteworthy arrests of BetonSports founder Gary Kaplan and former CEO David Carruthers. Co-founders in online gambling payment processor Neteller were arrested earlier this year. Ayre appeared on the cover of Forbes Billionaire issue last year.

Calvin Ayre responded by saying that White can't stop talking about BodogFight and offered to send him to an upcoming event in New Jersey via private jet with a stable of Bodog Girls.

Sparky admits to not knowing much about Dana White and wishes not to judge him but felt compelled to defend Calvin.

"I party with Calvin in Miami," said the alternative lifestyle reporter. "We share many good times together. He's not retired of me all these years and takes good care of his fighters. And he gives money to kids and bears."

Indeed, Calvin Ayre has placed much money into charities.

His Calvin Ayre private and independent foundation is based in Antigua with a charter to do charitable work worldwide (photo right).

Through the Calvin Ayre Foundation, Mr. Ayre envisioned a philanthropic organization that would focus on promoting greater equity in five broad areas: Environment, Education, Social Development, Child Welfare and Animal Welfare.

Ayre has also been instrumental in stopping the torture of bears in China for their bile.

Sparky, who served in the Cuban military and fought for the independence of Angola, also expressed gratitude for Ayre's "Salute the Troops" in Hawaii last year.

"Bodog put on a massive concert with Snoop Dogg and only invited military personnel stationed in Hawaii. I don't think criminals do things like this."
