Cynthia
Rodriguez a Free Agent? A-Rod "Cheating"
Caught by New York Post
Arguably one of the
sports world's
hottest athletes wives, Cynthia Rodriguez - wife
of Yankees player Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) - may be on
the singles market once again (note to interested
bachelors: the couple does have a kid).
New Yorkers and Yankee
fans alike awoke this morning to the shocking cover
story - accompanied by photo: Yankees player Alex
Rodriguez (better known as A-Rod) is seen entering a
Toronto strip club with a mystery blonde Sunday
night. The Yankees played and lost against the
Blue Jays Monday.
"The cozy duo dined with two pals at a pricey
steakhouse late Sunday night," the Post reported,
"then headed to a glitzy strip club before making
their way to his hotel, where the pair ducked into
an elevator and headed upstairs just after
midnight."
Rodriguez and his guest stayed at the Four Seasons
while most of his Yankees teammates and coaches were
checked in down the road at the Park Hyatt, the Post
reported.
"It's
the talk of baseball fans and New Yorkers and now
the nation this afternoon," expressed
Gambling911.com's own hottie reporter, Jenny Woo,
who named Cynthia Rodriguez among her top 10 hottest
athletes wives two times in a row.
Matt Lauer, Host of
NBC's Today Show asked Cynthia about their courtship
back in 2004 when A-Rod first moved to New York
City.
“In the beginning
it was kind of crazy. You know he traveled a lot and
I was working, and I was also in school getting my
graduate degree. And so… I would say a friendship
that developed into a relationship.”
When asked about
the stunning photo of baseball's hot couple
appearing in Sports Illustrated, A-Rod responded: “I
thought she (Cynthia) looked amazing. Notice I was
hiding behind her.”
Cynthia was nowhere
to be found during the slugger's night on the town.
For the New York
Post, news of the story has resulted in a difficult
to access website throughout the afternoon.
The New York Yankees were listed with odds of 8 to 1
to win the 2007 World Series at press time at
Betmaker (see website here)
and 6 to 1 to win the American League Pennant with
odds falling fast.
Betmaker.com
publicized the Yankees latest odds to win the 2007
World Series at +1100 or $100 bet would pay out
$1100. They are +725 to win the American
League pennant.
