Curlin 2007 Breeders Cup Betting Odds

Curlin 2007 Breeders Cup betting odds could be found at Sportsbook.com which promised a payout of $450 for every $100 bet compared to $300 and $350 elsewhere.

Strengths: One of the most naturally gifted horses of recent years, Curlin exploded from unstarted to Preakness winner in mere months by showing speed and tenacity beyond his experience. He is blessed with natural early speed, but also rates kindly and can virtually make his own trip as needed.

Weaknesses: Because of physical issues, Curlin was late making it to the races and does not have a deep foundation. His Triple Crown experiences, while stellar, were almost a “cram” session and he’s been very tepidly raced since that timeframe. His worst career race came over the Monmouth course in the Haskell.

Curlin also placed third in the race behind winner Street Sense. Prior to the 2007 Derby, Curlin had been unbeaten in three starts.
