Colts vs. Ravens
game preview and predictions from former Colts
Cheerleader Lisa Perry
What do you get when
you combine Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Samari Rolle
(cousins with the talented Chad Johnson), Chris
McAlister, Terrell Suggs, Deion Sanders and Dale
Carter.....THE DANGER ZONE! They are part of the
Baltimore Ravens prolific defense. Within this
defense, these seven guys make up a total of 27 Pro
Bowl appearances. The only way I would ever want to
play their defense is if I had them on my fantasy
football team! I am so fascinated by defensive
teams and this team takes it to the next level.
One of the most
interesting games played on Sunday is the
Indianapolis Colts vs. Baltimore Ravens. This game
is going to be exciting to watch and that's why the
NFL made it the Sunday night game. Pretty much
anyone not picking Indy to go to the Super Bowl, is
picking Baltimore to make it there. At least that's
what you read when you open up the paper or hear
when you turn the TV
to ESPN. Watching two teams predicted to go to the
Super Bowl is one game you can't miss!
Ravens defense is
their best weapon and obviously Colts offense is
theirs. When these weapons collide, we'll see who
can squeeze through and win. These are two good
teams that make a great match up. Sunday's game
will be played in Baltimore. Last year, the Colts
beat the Ravens in Indy. I am sure that any Ravens
fans would be hoping that Baltimore can return the
favor with a win in M&T Bank Stadium. Whatever team
loses still has 15 more games, so it's not the end
of the world. Both teams will win a fair share of
games. You still would like to see a win because
whoever wins will have the upper hand winning the
most games in the AFC. It is still somewhat
important that the Colts win for home field
advantage in playoffs. I believe Colts need to have
home field advantage in order to keep moving up in
the playoffs. So, in a way, every game counts for
Indy.
Here's the deal....we
already know that Baltimore has a good defense.
Even though they have a new offense, they will still
run the ball on the Colts. I'm not saying they will
"clean house" because if the offense can't score
they won't win. Ravens will not shut out Indy.
Their defense can be as good as it wants to be, but
if Baltimore's offense can't score....it will be an
automatic win for the Colts.
Jamal Lewis is back
and we all know what this Pro Bowl performer is
capable of. He will be splitting plays with #29
Chester Taylor. QB Kyle Boller is the worst
offensive player they have. He hasn't played well
in the past couple of years. With the signing of
free-agent WR Derrick Mason, a two-time Pro Bowl
selection with the Titans and the Ravens top pick,
former Oklahoma WR Mark Clayton, these
guys definitely will add to their offense. These
two wideouts are much better than what they have had
in the past. So Kyle Boller has weapons, but if he
doesn't use them then basically the game is over.
Even though the Colts
offense combined only has 15 Pro Bowl appearances
compared to the Ravens defense that has 27
appearances, it doesn't declare a win. If
Baltimore's offense can't get at least 20 points on
the board, it will be very hard for them to win the
game.
Only if the Baltimore
Ravens offense was as good as their
defense......they would be the next New England
Patriots! Come to think about it, the same goes for
Indy. If only their defense was as tight as their
offense...wow..now that would be a team!
I'm still proud of
my team. I see a bright future for the Colts
defense and their offense is always looking good. I
would like the Colts to bring home a win
Sunday night! GO BLUE!

A Note From Gambling911.com:
Gambling911.com
feels that the books are trying to get players to
put action on Indianapolis based on the two primary
lines that are out there. A -2 1/2 line is too
tempting. If Indy is going to win, surely they
can do so by a field goal. The books appear to
have faith that Baltimore will win this game.
Good luck this
weekend.
