The last full weekend of the college football regular season is loaded with rivalry games and we typically see some movement on the lines when the money starts coming in, and it will. It’s not even bowl season, yet there are a few games that tout themselves as such.

We have the Iron Bowl and Egg Bowl this week in the SEC. Some rivalry games are so fierce it’s as if the teams are heading into battle, which they are at the Holy War, the Civil War and the War on I-4. And for others it’s the pride of winning an actual trophy like the Apple Cup, Governors Cup, Territorial Cup or Valley Cup. And the biggest one of all in Week 13 is known simply as “The Game.”

Anyway, you get the picture. A lot can happen on the final regular season weekend and there will be movement with so much at stake. We’ve already seen several games shift as much as a field goal, the line on a pair of games jumped the fence, and it’s only going to get more chaotic as we get closer to kickoff.

Here’s a look at some of the biggest movers in early Week 13 betting action at BookMaker.eu.

Week 13 Major Line Moves

UAB at Middle Tennessee

Opening Line: Middle Tennessee -2.5

Current Line: UAB -2.5

How about a 5-point swing that jumped the fence? That’s what we have for this matchup of two Conference USA heavyweights. The Blazers have already clinched the West Division, running the table for a 7-0 league mark. They did have their eight-game winning streak snapped in a loss to Texas AM last week and would like to avoid a losing streak heading into the championship game. And their opponent could be the Red Raiders, who need a win on Saturday along with an FIU loss to set up a rematch. UAB was hit hard on the early wagers with over 80 percent of the action, flipping the spread. And there’s good reason. The Blazers have a school record nine wins just two seasons after reinstating the program following a two-year shutdown. If Bill Clark isn’t a candidate for national coach of the year I don’t know who is.

Arkansas at Missouri

Opening Line: Missouri -19.5

Current Line: Missouri -23

Thankfully for Chad Morris the season is coming to an end. His Razorbacks were shellacked again last week and the coach suspended two starters in the secondary this week for flirting with members of the opponents cheer squad. The Hogs will be without their interceptions leader as Ryan Pulley and Kamren Curl were shelved for the tilt with Missouri. Arkansas has the 96th ranked pass defense and it can’t get much worse. But Drew Lock is going to pick them apart and the public recognized this, jumping the spread 4.5-points to Mizzou -23. Lock averages 264 passing yards per game and has 760 yards and seven touchdowns in the Tigers last three games, all wins.

BYU at Utah

Opening Line: Utah -13.5

Current Line: Utah -11

The Utes are in a tough spot as they ready for their Holy War battle. They don’t like BYU, but they’ve clinched the Pac-12 South and have a date in the conference championship for next Friday. Is winning the Holy War more important than winning a trip to the Rose Bowl? We’ll find out when these two kick it off. Three-quarters of the betting public think the Utes may not be all in, and the Cougars were hit hard on the early line dropping the spread to its current number. And BYU has nothing but pride to play for, and beating the U will make this season a lot less depressing.

North Texas at UT-San Antonio

Opening Line: North Texas -18.5

Current Line: North Texas -24

All the Mean Green has to do is reach its scoring average to cover the line, and they should do it handily. UNT is averaging 37.5 points per game to rank 18th in the FBS, and they shouldn’t have much of a problem beating the Roadrunners, who can’t wait for the season to end. Injuries to quarterbacks Cordale Grundy and D.J. Gillins seriously impacted the offense, which has scored a total of 30 points during their current five-game losing streak to put them dead last in the FBS in points per game. UNT is getting over 65 percent of the action forcing the line to spike the most of any game on the board so far. And we could see it go higher before kickoff.
