Clinton Obama Feud Could Help Candidates Like BidenThe gloves came off following Monday night's YouTube debate with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama going at it. Perhaps Hillary may have gotten a little nervous following reports that Obama had overwhelmingly won the YouTube debate.

Senator Hillary Clinton sharply criticized Senator Barack Obama for the first time yesterday as inexperienced on national security, calling him “irresponsible and frankly naïve” for saying he would be willing to meet without preconditions with leaders of Iran, North Korea and three other nations during his first year as president.
Mr. Obama responded swiftly, saying the Clinton campaign was concocting a “fabricated controversy.” He also contended that Mrs. Clinton’s skeptical view of such meetings was similar to that of President Bush.
An AOL poll suggested that Hillary Clinton won out on this issue by the slightest of numbers, however, her response about meeting other "controversial" world leaders such as Hugo Chavez of Venezuela only with conditions attached met with heavy approval from respondents.
Meanwhile, Senator Joe Biden appears to have improved his rating following the YouTube debate. He was listed with 50 to 1 odds at press time of becoming the next US President
The lower tiered candidates struggled to get debate time but according to USAElectionPolls.com, Joe Biden still came out the winner in the debate.
According to the popular polls compilation website, USAElectionPolls.com says that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama's goals were to keep with the status quo. The last thing a candidate at the top of the polls wants to do is be controversial.
That sets up the lower tiered candidates to remain controversial in a push upwards. Bill Richardson was firm on getting the troops out by the end of the year. To congress he said, "just get it done". Joe Biden was all over the place by highlighting his foreign policy experience and his writing of legislation. Chris Dodd, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel did not stand out any more than they do in other debates.

The authors at USAElectionPolls.com asked the following question based on his performance at Monday's debate: "If you are a Democrat, wouldn't you want Joe Biden fighting a pro-war Republican candidate in the general election?"
To the uncommitted observer, Ms Clinton seemed to dominate, despite the barbs from Mr Obama and Mr Edwards, according to the Independent. If Mr Obama sometimes sounded a little lightweight, the same could not be said of Joe Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations committee, but so far stuck in the "second tier" of candidates.
Though a fierce critic of the war, Mr Biden rounded on those who called for a pull-out of US troops from Iraq by next spring. Every military man knew an orderly withdrawal would take at least a year, and probably considerably longer.
And Mr Biden drew arguably the biggest laugh of the evening when a man cradling his "baby," a semi automatic assault weapon, asked for the candidates' views on gun control. "If that's his baby, he needs help," Mr Biden declared.
