Top-ranked Clemson took out No. 7 Miami 42-17 last week at home and now heads on the road to face 2-2 Georgia Tech. Clemson has won 47 straight Saturday games dating back to November of 2016. This Saturday kickoff is scheduled for noon ET at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta and will be televised on ABC.

The all-time series is led by Georgia Tech 50-32-2, but Clemson has won five straight meetings. Last year, the Tigers drubbed the Yellow Jackets 52-14, and none of the games in the current streak have been decided by less than 14 points. Georgia Tech last beat the Tigers at home in 2014.

Clemson Tigers Outlook: Still On Top

In betting with us at https://streetbettings.com/get-rich-with-sports-wagering/ , Clemson is 1-3 ATS this season, and the under is 3-1 in their games. The Tigers are 10th in the nation in total yards (495.5 yards per game), ninth in scoring (42.3 points per game) and 14th in passing yards (310 yards per game).

The defense ranks ninth in scoring (13.3 points per game), 10th in rushing yards allowed (89.8 yards per game) and 11th in total yards (279.8 yards per game).

Heading into this week’s games, ____ has Clemson QB Travis Lawrence as the overwhelming Heisman favorite (+100). On the season, Lawrence has completed 72% of his passes for 1,140 yards with 10 touchdowns and no interceptions.

He has also run for four scores. Last year, he threw two interceptions against Georgia Tech with one touchdown and 168 yards.

Tailback Travis Etienne had another big game Saturday, rushing for 149 yards and two scores on 17 carries. Etienne has scored a touchdown in an FBS-record 39th game in his career and has five total this season. He has rushed for 392 yards with seven yards per carry.

Etienne gashed the Yellow Jackets for 205 yards on 12 carries last season, scoring three times.

Lawrence found eight different receivers Saturday, with Etienne catching eight balls for 73 yards, while tight Braden Galloway had 74 yards with two touchdowns. Wide receiver Amari Rodgers has 19 catches for 268 yards with three touchdowns on the season, while wide receiver Frank Ladson Jr. has 12 catches for 222 yards and two scores.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Outlook: Running Hard

We’ve seen Georgia Tech go 2-2 ATS this season, and the over is 3-1 in its games. The offense is 17th in the nation in rushing (213.8 yards per game), 58th in scoring (25.8 points per game) and 20th in total yards (453 yards per game).

The defense is 56th in total yards (448.8 yards per game), 50th in scoring (31.5 points per game) and 57th against the run (189.3 yards per game).

Against Louisville on Saturday, quarterback Jeff Sims was 11-for-21 for 249 yards with two touchdowns. He also ran seven times for 64 yards and a score. Sims has more interceptions (eight) than touchdowns (five) on the season while completing 55 % of his passes.

Running back Jahmyr Gibbs had 61 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries while also racking up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown. Sims leads the team with 251 rushing yards and three scores, while Gibbs has 232 yards.

Wide receiver Malachi Carter had 89 yards and a score on three catches, while wide receiver Jalen Camp had four catches for 31 yards and a touchdown. Gibbs leads the team with three touchdown receptions while Carter has 213 yards on 14 catches.

Georgia Tech forced three Louisville turnovers in the 46-27 win, and we think they’ll need to repeat that to have a chance against Clemson. They have eight turnovers and nine sacks in four games.

Head to our favorite pay per head bookie site at https://streetbettings.com/get-rich-with-sports-wagering/ where you can find Clemson favored by 26.5 points with a total set at 59.5. Georgia Tech is +1200 on the moneyline to pull off what would be a stunning upset.

Betting Analysis

The Yellow Jackets have been awful against the run so far this season so expect Lawrence and Etienne to run wild on Saturday. Clemson beat a much better Miami team by 25 and shouldn’t have any trouble against the Yellow Jackets.

Tech only scored 20 and 21, respectively, in losses to UCF and Syracuse, and Sims will find it even tougher to lead the offense against the Tigers.
