Cavs Will Pay Out $1400

If you were lucky enough to have money down on the Cleveland Cavs early in the Eastern Conference Playoffs, chances are you might walk off with $1400 or more.

This is Carrie Stroup reporting for Sports911.com and congrats to Cleveland Cavs fans and the Cleveland sports fans in general as it is the first time since 1964 that you will be celebrating a world championship.  Granted you haven't won the NBA Final title yet but you can just taste it and for sports bettors, there is more to taste than the Cavs victory.

Should Cleveland win it all, a $1000 bet placed early on would pay out a whopping $14,000!  That's because Sportsbook.com offered these odds when the Detroit Pistons were heavily favored to win the Eastern Conference and the Spurs were heavily favored to win the NBA Finals.

The payout potential may have even been greater after games one and two of the season once the Cavs found themselves in a 0-2 hole.  But that record was certainly deceiving as both games played in Detroit were close right up until the very end.

Make no mistake about it, Cleveland fans got their bets in throughout the season on future odds that started out at 10 to 1 back in October.

Sports911.com will be following all the latest 2007 NBA Finals Betting Odds news throughout the week and right through the Finals.  The 2007 NBA Finals begin on Thursday.

Updated odds will be offered shortly for those of you who have not gotten your bets down at Sportsbook.com
