Poker in Kentucky is subject to restrictive state legislation. No casinos are permitted to operate within state lines.  The state is home to online horse racing site TwinSpires however.

Indiana is home to close to a dozen poker rooms.

Americas Cardroom is one of the few sites that has long served the U.S. market and is currently offering a $5 million guaranteed online tournament with a $1 million first place prize.  Americas Cardroom tends to rank as the 8th largest online poker site in the world.  It also offers a sportsbook and online casino.  Keep in mind, you can also play for free to hone yours poker skills, especially if just starting out.
