CAP Spring Break Bahamas: Affiliate Series of Poker to Give Away $20,000 in Cash Prizes

 

There's already a buzz stirring about CAP Spring Break 2007! This year's sizzling event will happen in the Bahamas, at the popular Atlantis resort. Besides the networking, parties and fun in the sun, this year's CAP is offering up some serious cash to online poker affiliates. The events will consist of a No Limit Texas Hold'em knock-out tournament with increasing blinds. Each tournament is sponsored by a major online poker room and offers great prizes and giveaways. CAP has provided the details of this exciting event below:

The Tournament:

The current tournament will be held on June 9-10 during the CAP Spring Break 2007 affiliate conference.

All players must be affiliates and will be qualified by the event staff. The players will qualify for the ASOP.com off-line tournament through a number of controlled and passworded on-line freeroll tournaments.

The Prizes:

1st Place - $10,000 cash plus official ASOP diamond bracelet
2nd Place - $5,000 cash
3rd Place - $2,500 cash
4th Place - $1,250
5th Place - $750
6th Place - $500

All 6 final table winners will receive complimentary flights and accommodation to the next CAP event (hint: CAP Euro Fall Fiesta in Barcelona!)

The Catch:

Keep in mind that this is a completely private tournament for CAP Spring Break attendees and properly registered affiliates.

Since this event is not open to the general public you will be asked to qualify your position in the industry before we can consider inviting you to play. Vetting procedures are in place to ensure you work in the gaming and gambling industry. Please provide as much information as possible.

The Main Event

The very first off-line tournament will take place at CAP Euro and it will consist of 6 tables of 6 people (total 36). Basically, the ASOP is an off-line poker tournament just for affiliates with qualifiers from previous tournaments and from on-line. Before you get to the main event you have to do a few things listed below.

Each ASOP tournament will take place at each one of CAP’s cool events such as CAP Euro and CAP Spring break. The idea is simple. The tournament will be a no limit Texas Hold’em knock-out tournament with blinds slowly increasing.

First, in order to qualify you need to be a CAP/GPWA affiliate.

Next, to qualify for the ASOP.com off-line tournament you need to play a few controlled and passworded on-line freeroll tournaments.

Lastly, after you have qualified to play in the ASOP off-line tournament you simply play each table and win. When you win your table you can now play for the final table.

The primary aim for this tournament is to provide all of you high rollers with the top bragging rights throughout the affiliate community! So stop staring at the computer and go sign up!
