Washington DC, or the District of Columbia, sees plenty of sports betting thanks to a number of local teams.  The sports betting scene here is exploding following the U.S. Supreme Court decision that paved the way for legalization nationwide.

As of March 10 DC area bookies should be using a Pay Per Head service.  Georgetown has helped the books make a profit by going 13-17-1 Against The Spread despite having a winning record Straight Up.  The Capitals in the NHL are doing just enough damage to keep the books relying on Pay Per Head software.  If you are a sports bettor looking to simply bet online, check out Gambling911.com's Sportsbook Reviews page
