Bodog Founder Calvin Ayre Insists 1st Technology Served the Wrong Company

Responding to Gambling911.com's report that Bodog advertising venues and suppliers have been subpoenaed to produce documents related to sponsorship agreements, Bodog founder Calvin Ayre insists that the high profile patent lawsuit brought on by 1st Technology should be thrown out on the basis that the "wrong company was initially served".

"First that company (served legal documents) is not Bodog any more, second it never was Bodog the gaming company...they (1st Technology) are in court with the wrong company and its been forced to change its name to Data Entry and Domain Management SA.

"Bodog gaming is Antiguan and has been since before these guys purported to serve that now defunct ex-supplier of ours based in Costa Rica....no amount of subpoenas is going to make the wrong company the right company, or put assets into a dead company so they are wasting their time. We are also willing to settle but we don't think 1st tech has the money to pay our damages from the mess they made....but we have a long memory and will wait until the time is right for lawful restitution.

"We are also confident that the courts in Washington will agree with us that the domains should never have been allowed to be hijacked in the first place, but that issue will have no affect on us and the company they have in court will likely soon be allowed to die no matter what the domain outcome is."

Bodog lost its coveted Bodog.com domain name last year after the registrar was forced to take it and corresponding domain names offline.  Ayre and his staff immediately switched their sites to a new domain - BodogLife.com.

The new domain name has since witnessed improved rankings on search engines after months of Bodog having little if any presence.
