Amy Winehouse The Bookie's Favorite to Win Mercury Music Prize

Amy Winehouse has been instilled as the 5/2 favorite to win the coveted Mercury Music Prize for this year, although Arctic Monkeys, who won last year, aren't far behind in the running.  (odds courtesy of Ladbrokes)

Amy Winehouse may face a road block however as a result of some bad press recently.

Folks at her Eden Project show in Cornwall, England, the other night say the beehive-haired pop cutie seemed frustrated when she forgot some lyrics, then worked up some saliva and spat into the crowd. Photos of the rude display hit the Web. One fan told London's Evening Standard: "Members of her entourage were coming onto the stage, obviously worried she couldn't go on, and she would just shout '[Bleep] off' at them."
