American Idol, Yao Ming: Jenny Woo's Best Bets
So I've been slacking...Well, Jenny Woo is here to make it up to y'all with two big bets worth considering this week: American Idol and Yao Ming's Houston Rockets. Carrie Stroup's got nothing on me!

American Idol so far this season has proven completely unpredictable. Some of the so-called "favorites" aren't necessarily the favorites when it comes to the voting public.
Lakisha Jones is the second least searched for of the remaining American Idols, second only to that shaved head hottie Phil Stacey. What makes them both so "unpopular"?
Stacey looks less like a Marine and more like one of those Miami Beach Ocean Rescue guys who stay in their trucks all day and never get a tan. Lakisha - to me anyway - always tends to look, well, suicidal.
Speaking of wanting to commit suicide:
The most searched for of the Idols as we pointed out in a previous article is none other than Salakar Malakar or whatever the **** his name is. Cutie pie, love the Paula and Diana Ross do's....but the DON'Ts are what I pay most attention to.....Like, DON'T SING PLEASE. My dog Lexy actually leaves the room when he comes on.
Haley, another hottie, sings slightly better than Salakar but I'm more likely to pop in a Kelly Pickler CD over hers any day and that is not a good thing.
Chris Sligh with his cute fro is also among the least searched of the Idols yet both Lakisha and Chris offer some of the biggest elimination payout odds this week.
Bookmaker.com (see website here) had Lakisha listed with +6600 odds of getting voted off this week. This is a Jenny Woo alert! It's a great bet: $100 pays $6600. Bet on Phil Stacey and Chris Slight at two other online gambling websites offering American Idol elimination odds and the risk is so small with the potential for a huge payout. Sligh is +800, Stacey is +180. The most you would likely loose on a $300 bet is $100 to $150 should Phil Stacey be voted off this week.
Not too shabby.
Betmaker.com is one of the few other websites offering odds on American Idol eliminations so you might have to settle for only two. One of the three above mentioned or a combination of two at both Betmaker.com and Bookmaker.com would offer the best profit potential. Psst...BetDSI.com also offers betting on American Idol eliminations.
Keep in mind that this week's eliminated AI contestant was also the least searched for of the bunch.

Next on my list of Best Bets This Week would be Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets. This team seems to be keeping well under the radar.
Betmaker.com lists Houston with +1100 odds to win the Western Conference. That's a $1100 payout on every $100 bet. It may sound crazy when we have Dallas and Phoenix in the same conference but the pressure is more on them to win than it is on my big bad Yao and his Rockets to do so.
And - hey - The Rockets are 8-2 in their last 10, along with Dallas and Phoenix.
