American Idol Results: Who Got Voted Off?

American Idol results were coming in to determine who would be the final 5 remaining Idols.  So who got voted off American Idol this week?

Over 38 million votes came in and Gambling911.com was providing live results throughout the 9 to 10 pm EST hour.

It appeared heading into the night's Results show that Brooke White might be heading home after forgetting the lyrics to her song.

Andrew Lloyd Webber provided the medicine for Syesha Mercado, who may very well have had the best performance of the night.

David Cook was also outstanding.

David Archuleta was good but it wasn't his best.

Carly Smithson performed well, but did she connect with Idol viewers?

Jason Castro was not very good.  He and Brooke were expected to be in the bottom two. 

In the end though neither Jason nor Brooke even saw the bottom two.  It was shockingly, Carly and Seyesha. 

And ultimately it was Carly Smithson going home.
