The American Idol results were coming in for April 2, 2008.  Who got voted off Wednesday night?  This is Carrie Stroup reporting for Gambling911.com and I will be here the entire hour presenting all the latest updates on who is safe, who is in the bottom three, and who of those bottom three ultimately get voted off.

Coming into Wednesday's show it appeared as if Ramiele Malubay, Kristy Lee Cook and Jason Castro were in danger if we are to believe the DialIdol.com website, which measures voting volume.  That site has been pretty accurate thus far this season.  They did have Ramiele at the very bottom. 

This week was Dolly Parton Week and there were some very strong performances: Specifically David Cook, David Archuleta and Michael Johns. 

Great news is that David Cook was back on American Idol this evening after being hospitalized last night.

Michael Johns, David Archuleta, Karly Smithson all safe.

David Cook is safe and well, he tells us.

Ramiele Malubay is among the bottom three.

Kristy Lee Cook in the bottom three.

Syesha Mercado was safe.

Brooke White is in the bottom three.

Jason Castro is safe.

Ramiele has been voted off.
