American Idol Results Show: Who Got Voted Off?

The American Idol Results Show featured the final 12, which would be down to 11 next week.  This week's voting brought in just over 29 million calls, according to host Ryan Seacrest. 

Heading into Wednesday night's American Idol Results Show, it appeared as if the candidates to be voted off included Kristy Lee Cook, Ramiele Malubay and quite possibly Miami's own Syesha Mercado.

Carly Smithson, with 3 - 1 odds of winning this season's American Idol was safe.

Australia's Michael Johns was also safe.

Colombian Jason Castro was also safe.

Syesha Mercado was the last of the first four standing and she was among the bottom three, Seacrest revealed early. 

Kristy Cook, as expected, was also among the bottom three.  Amanda, David Cook and Chikezie were each safe.

David Hernandez was among the bottom three.  Ramiele Malubay with 12 - 1 odds of winning Idol, was safe.

Syesha Mercado was safe.

David Hernandez voted off.
