American Idol Results Night: Who Got Eliminated?

American Idol Results Night is upon us as we find out which of the Final 12 are the first to be eliminated.  This is Carrie Stroup reporting live this half hour with the American Idol eliminations.

Certainly Sanjaya Malakar would seem like the most obvious to be eliminated if we were looking at this as a singing contest.  American Idol is not always a singing contest, however, and heading into tonight it seemed as if Stephanie Edwards, Chris Sligh and even the "untouchable" Blake Lewis appeared like potential elimination targets.  At least Malakar did not forget the words - unlike three other contestants.

Malakar was practically laughed off the stage.  If he were to stay on Idol, the show risks losing viewers in droves especially if the more talented Stephanie Edwards or Chris Sligh get voted off Wednesday night's results show.  Both were ranked towards the bottom of DialIdol's results.

Phil Stacey, Brandon Young were in the bottom three.  They were met by Sanjaya. 

Brandon has been eliminated.
