American Idol: The Men Get It On With Marvin Gaye and More
American Idol top 10 men performed Tuesday night. This is Carrie Stroup reporting for Gambling911.com, the ultimate news website pertaining to the latest American Idol betting odds.
Phil Stacy opened the night with those cute little pointy ears with his rendition of the 80's hit "Missing You" and turned out a very good performance. Judge Simon Cowell said "I am not jumping out of my chair" and stated that he does "not have an original voice" and that "I am hearing a very good karoke singer".
Simon did finish by saying Phil will be back next week. Both Randy and Paula liked his performance.

Jared was up next with "Lets Get It On", the Marvin Gaye rendition. Randy kinda liked it. Paula got all excited and couldn't speak. It reminded Simon of the Love Boat and suggested his performance was a bit corny in spots but it was pretty memorable and fun so he probably stood out this week and the girls will love him.
AJ was up next and I gotta tell you, loved that voice. Simon even commented "That was nearly very good". He sounded great and showed both some personality and voice. Probably the best performance thus far.

Sanjaya Malakar with 10-1 odds of winning American Idol was up next. Last week he reportedly finished in the Top 3. He was not terribly impressive though and judge Randy Jackson said that "this was like some weird High School performance".
Chris Sligh sang very good with his rendition of "Trouble" and even Simon agreed. He does have a great voice and I predict he should move on to next week. We shall see. He's a lovable cherub.
I knew Nick Pedro was going to commit suicide when it was announced he would be performing a cabaret favorite "Fever" and dedicating it to his girlfriend. Nick fell pretty low in voting last week.
Randy thought it was pretty nice but pitchy. Simon thought it was good but felt he lacked charisma.
Blake Lewis was up next. He comes to us from the state of Washington but readers beware, it is a CLASS C FELONY for Washington State residents to bet on American Idol.
Blake sang "Virtual Insanity" and did a little beat boxing. Once again, I felt he was original and really stands out.
Randy loved that he came back to form. And he finished "I like you Man".
Paula said "You are unique"
Simon disagreed with the two judges. He thought it was a "copy cat performance" and "was very disappointed this week".
Brandon was up next. He dedicated his performance tonight to his late grandmother. He did a somewhat flat rendition of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time".
The judges were not feeling it either. Yikes Brandon! You might have a tough time getting through to the next round.
Chris Richardson, a favorite among the men to win coming into this week, and Randy thought it was "hotter than the original". Simon said "Best tonight by a mile." And I gotta agree. Nothing that blew me off my Sportsbook.com soft cushion chair, but unique and well done.
His odds will likely be shortened by Friday from 6 to 1 to 5 to 1. A $1 bet would pay $6 if he wins right now.
Sundance Head was up next. He is believed to have received the most votes among the men last week and comes to us from the Idol stronghold of the Southeast.
Great performance will move him to the next round. "You gotta bring it like that each week," Paula said. Simon said he was glad we had the Sundance back that they all knew.
