American Idol: Lakisha Jones May Still be a Goner

Despite a rave performance this week from Lakisha Jones on American Idol, she might become a victim of last week's vote count, estimated to be twice the number of this week.  That's because both weeks will be added into the equation and this week's Bon Jovi themed performances may have little impact...unless there is something we do not know.

Both Jones and Chris Richardson were widely believed to be among the bottom two tomorrow night. 

"Host Ryan Seacrest seemed to indicate that the votes from the two weeks would be added to determine the rankings for this week," writes Craig Berman of MSNBC.  "Given that the hype surrounding last week’s episode led to 70 million votes, and this week is likely to get about half that many, it means that the Bon Jovi covers aren’t worth as much as the normal Tuesday sing-alongs."
