American Idol Shocker: Jordin Sparks,  Scarnato, Sligh Eliminations Possible

AddThis Social Bookmark Button If DialIdol has it right, we may be in for yet another shocking American Idol eliminations night, more shocking than the cable outage that caused Gambling911.com's own Carrie Stroup to improvise Tuesday's night's performance show.

DialIdol.com measures busy signals for each Idol's phone line to determine who has the most number of votes.  The site has not been entirely accurate this season.  Last week, Chris Richardson appeared among the bottom two, but was not in danger of having the least number of votes according to DialIdol.

In fairness, the site gives a pretty big discrepancy percentage and this week only has Melinda Doolittle, Chris Richardson, Lakisha Jones, Gina Glocksen and (drum roll please) Sanjaya Malakar as safe.

Yep, that's right, the real shocker will be that Sanjaya Malakar lasts another week.

Glocksen was widely praised as one of the best performances this week.  Good for her.

Should Jordin Sparks be voted off Wednesday night, some lucky gamblers would walk away with a whopping $1000 for every $100 they bet on Sparks.  This one, admittedly, would catch Gambling911.com completely off guard.

Chris Sligh was the one we were suggesting could be vulnerable heading into the Tuesday night show.  And at +800 odds, that would present another sweet payout of $800 for every $100 bet.

Even Haley Scarnato would pay out nicely at near 3 to 1 odds: Just under $300 for every $100 bet.

All odds courtesy of Bookmaker.com (see website here) which anticipates having the latest elimination odds up by Friday morning.
