American Idol Elimination Results for March 1, 2007

Over 32 million votes came in for this week's American Idol.  The elimination results were coming in Thursday evening with Nicolas Pedro and Brandon Rogers among the lowest vote getters it appears.  Gina Glocksen and Stephanie Edwards were at the bottom of the list for this week for the females though Leslie Hunt and Haley Scarnato were no way out of the woods.

Edwards leaving this early would be a disappointment since hers was among the better performances. 

My choices for the two girls who should be voted out are Alaina Alexander and a toss up between Leslie Hunt and Haley Scarnato.  Controversial Idol contestant Antonella Barba was not the best singer but she does have that "It" factor - in more ways than one.

The men who should be leaving are Sanjaya Malakar and a toss up between Nicolas and Brandon, but Sanjaya won't be going anywhere this week.  It appears he was among the top vote getters once again, which will only get him so far once more people start voting and fans of those already eliminated start jumping on board.

Nick Pedro the first eliminated.

Alaina is the second to be eliminated. 

AJ was a bit of a shocker as he gets eliminated.

Leslie was the final elimination
