American Idol: Betting Odds Now Have David Archuleta at Even Money

A bet on David Archuleta now could ultimately pay even money should the young singer win this season's American Idol.  Archuleta was instilled as the favorite from the get go but after a bumbling Beetles performance two weeks ago, he is yet to become a "runaway favorite".

There is still plenty of value to be had.

Rocker David Cook is one of the more fresher performers on the show, harping back to the days of Chris Daughtry.  Cook had odds of 3 to 1. 

Carly Smithson continues to maintain short odds despite being voted among the bottom three last week. 

Other favorites to win included Brooke White with the promise to pay out $7 for every $2 bet; Michael Johns with 8 to 1 odds and Jason Castro at 12 to 1 odds.
