Gambling911.com has compiled a breakdown of odds for each of the American Idol contestants to win the phenomenally popular singing competition, now in its 7th season on Fox. You'll need to shop around because gambling websites have been offering huge differences in payout odds. It's like shopping for the best price of gas only better. With Idol, some payout odds are nearly $10 off at one gambling site over the other. Savvy American Idol bettors understand that it is wise to bet a different Idol contestant to win at 3 or more online gambling websites. Most now offer American Idol betting odds. Then just cross your fingers that Archuleta will not win. Any other win will probably result in a payout, even with a nominal risk. David Archuleta - He's the favorite but still offers excellent value considering everyone and their mother has this young man a virtual "lock" to win American Idol's seventh season. Of course, there is the issue of Archuleta having a big target on his head (apparently some of the other contestants are treating him like an outcast). The best odds on David Archuleta can be found at Sportsbook. Win $2 for every $3 back (get your original $2 back as well if he is to win). Folks this is a steal. It won't get any prettier in the weeks to come. Asia'h Epperson - Right now, Asia'h is the one to beat among the women in our opinion. Sick as she was this past week, Asia'h belted out the ending of "All By Myself" with reckless abandonment, plus she's the whole package and definitely the poster Idol child. BetUS.com pays $15 for every $1 bet on Asia'h whereas Sportsbook.com pays only $7. Where you gonna bet if you like Asia'h, huh? Carly Smithson - This girl's got a voice and we are yet to see that powerhouse performance we are almost certain she'll be delivering soon. There's enough of an Irish contingent to keep Carly in the race. She pays $6 for every $1 bet at BetUS.com and as low as $2.50 at some online gambling sites. Michael Johns - Australia's finest is probably the best competition to Archuleta on the male side of the equation. He was one of the big favorites coming in. The best payout on Johns is 7 to 1 at Sportsbook.com Ramiele Malubay - She has the best payout potential at Big Juicy Odds. We can't even remember what she sang last week but the week before that Ramiele looked like some tight competition. David Hernandez - The gay boys and the girls will keep him in the competition for a while especially if he takes his shirt off, which he is prone to doing based on the pictures that are circulating all over the Net. The good news for Hernandez is that he's a huge underdog with the ability to sing and perform. That will get him far in this competition. We just can't see him winning. Then again, neither could we see Jordin Sparks winning last year this early in the competition. The great news for gamblers is that Hernandez would pay out $25 on the dollar if he were to win, so placing a bet on him at BetUS.com and Archuleta at Sportsbook ain't gonna hurt your bankroll.
