Amanda Overmyer Could be Voted Off American Idol Tonight

Say it isn't so...one of  our personal favorites, Amanda Overmyser, stands a significant chance of being voted off American Idol Wednesday night. 

DialIdol predictions have Overmyer and Kristy Lee Cook in a practical dead tie for least number of votes this week.  The predictions site measures the number of busy signals for each Idol and has been relatively accurate in past seasons.  Overmyer falls within a margin of error that includes of Idols such as Chikezie Eze and Ramiele Malubay.

"Overmyer's musical style may not necessarily appeal to the typical American Idol viewer," explains Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of Gambling911.com. 

Her music is characterized as Southern Blues.  Overmyer is regularly compared to Janis Joplin. 

While Miami's own Syesha Mercado appeared safe, the only real "lock" to stay on beyond this week was young David Archuleta, who once again performed brilliantly.
