girlfriends are all the rage these days (also known
as WAGS). The Beckhams have a little bit of
competition these days. Posh Spice has always been
looked at as sexy songstress with an off the charts
hot hubby, but I honestly couldn’t tell you who I
think is hotter! But let me just talk to you about
one of the hottest soccer player/model couples I
have seen in a long time. Gigi & Alena are soon to
be gracing the pages of US Weekly and E! any day
now. Of course gambling911 is the trendsetter so we
thought we’d give our readers a little heads up on
the hottest couple soon to be on the radar, before
someone tries to copy us as usual!
Gianluigi Buffon was born in Carrara, Italy on
January 28th, 1978 into a sporting family. His mom
was a disks thrower, his dad a weight lifter and his
two sisters play volleyball and his uncle and not to
forget his uncle played basketball. He is also a
nephew of former Milan and Italy goalkeeper Lorenzo
Buffon. Gigi, as he is referred to says that until
he was 17 years old, he was a "Monster " and he was
so ugly, that the girls ran away of him. Gigi says
that he would love to be involved with someone
special, but prefers to live alone. Buffon claims
that even when he gets married, he will live alone.
As we all know behind every man is a great women and
the question is, who is the women helping Gigi spend
the $33 million Euros he received in his latest
contract?
This woman is none other than, beauty queen turned
movie star, turned international model, turned
goalkeepers girlfriend, Alena Seredova. She was
crowned Miss Czech Republic in 1998 and from there
she started an international career as model. In
2002 she was chosen by the Italian comedian Giorgio
Panariello for his prime-time TV show and thanks to
her amazing beauty she has became very popular in
Italy. Not only is she an international model, movie
star and TV personality she landed the heart of
Gianluigi Buffon, goalkeeper for the Italian team
Juventus. Her acting debut was in 2003 with the
movie Ho visto le stelle (2003) by Vincenzo Salemme,
then she was in the cast of "Christmas in love" by
Neri Parenti with the Italian cinema's golden couple
Massimo Boldi and Chritian de Sica and the
Hollywood's star Danny de Vito. She was chosen to
pose for the 2005's "MAX" calendar and it is rumored
her next appearance will be in Maxim. She even has
her own website.
Like any hot couple, they come with their set of
scandals. Otherwise this story most likely wouldn’t
be appearing on our site! Ironically Gigi has taken
part in a little gambling scandal of his own.
Allegations surfaced that he bet large sums on
several sporting events, including soccer, but
stopped once rules were put into place banning the
players from such activity. Buffon claims that he
never bet on Italian leauge nor Juvenus games, the
allegations remain under investigation.
Regardless of the charges, Gigi is still partaking
in the World Cub and remains to be one of the best
goalkeepers in the history of the World Cup! Plus he
has a hot girlfriend in his bed & $33 million Euros
in the bank, what more could a player ask for?
