A-Rod Mystery Blonde Revealed as Joslyn Noel Morse
The New York Post reveals the identity of Yankees slugger A-Rod's mystery blonde as one Joslyn Noel Morse. She's a longtime stripper and Playboy Bunny wannabe who has danced at one of A-Rod's favorite jiggle joints, The Post has learned.
The paper first showed a photo Wednesday of A-Rod entering a Toronto strip club with the female companion in tow.
Joslyn Noel Morse, 30, who most recently was an exotic dancer at Scores Las Vegas, has been repeatedly spied with the Yankees' $252 million man in Tampa, Miami, Dallas - and in Toronto, where on Sunday, they had a cozy dinner at a steakhouse.
Morse is a corn-fed Catholic-school girl from Iowa who quickly took up the stripping trade after high school, sources said. For the past decade, she was licensed to work as an "entertainer" at several Vegas strip clubs, according to Nevada state records.
The three page article also confirms that A-Rod was back with his wife yesterday in Boston where the last-placed Yankees were going up against the first-place Red Sox. Boston was a favorite to win the 2007 World Series at press time. The Yankees were still among the top 10 teams with odds to win but were fading fast. (see odds to win the 2007 World Series here)
A woman who knew Morse and her three younger sisters as a teen told the Post Morse was "sort of a wild child."
"She's just one of those people who have just that sort of aura around them. You know, they're cool and confident, but it's intimidating," said the Cedar Rapids woman. She said Morse started stripping in Iowa soon after high school.
Sources said A-Rod regularly dropped by its 25,000-square foot, 500- dancer space regularly - "off-season and during the season" - most recently several weeks ago during a Yankee road trip.
"We don't comment on our celebrity clientele," said a spokesman for the New York-based Scores chain, who nonetheless confirmed that Morse has been a Scores girl in Las Vegas.
Morse has jiggled her way through pricey Vegas clubs, including the Spearmint Rhino, Masters, Treasures Gentlemen's Club, Jaguars, Sapphire Gentlemen's Club and Seamless, records reveal.
Our man on the street in New York - or in this case, the subway - Tyrone Black, emphasizes just how big a story the A-Rod affair (or should we say affairs as this saga seems to be going in that direction) really is.
"You could not find a single person on the subway without a copy of the New York Post or Daily News Thursday morning," Black observed. "I even saw old ladies reading about this stuff."
Not to be outdone (though they probably were again on Friday) The New York Daily News is running a report that insists Cynthia Rodriguez is not a free agent and will be standing by her man.
Although she remained silent yesterday, Cynthia Rodriguez's face seemed far less weary and more relaxed. Sources close to the Yankees told the Daily News that she plans to stay with him through the weekend, then travel with him to Chicago as the Bombers continue a 10-day road trip.
