A-Rod
Blonde Spotted With Him in Several Cities
The New York Post is
reporting that the mysterious blonde photographed
along side Yankees star Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod)
entering a Toronto strip club has been seen with him
in Dallas, Seattle, Las Vegas and Florida over the
last couple months, either with the same blonde or
someone who looks like her.
While A-Rod has
refused to comment on Wednesday's New York Post
story, that paper is also reporting that
his wife Cynthia was spotted leaving their Park
Avenue apartment with several bags in tow. The
couple were married in 2002 and have a 2
1/2-year-old daughter.
Meanwhile, Alex
Rodriguez and Derek Jeter are the Majors' top
overall vote-getters so far for the 78th All-Star
Game on July 10 in San Francisco, but the big
question is whether traditional dominance by Yankees
in this annual voting process will be affected by
that club's troublesome first half.
The first American League balloting update was
released Wednesday by Major League Baseball, and it
reflects more than a month of decision-making by
fans through the Monster All-Star Online Ballot at
MLB.com and at the ballparks.
The Yankees beat
the Toronto Blue Jays 10-5 Wednesday night. It
was the Yankees’ first victory in a week, and it
snapped a five-game losing streak. They remain tied
for last place, and they will enter this weekend’s
series at Boston trailing the Red Sox by 13 ˝ games
in the American League East.
“This lifted a real cloud off us, especially with
the off day tomorrow (Thursday),” Manager Joe Torre
said. “To have to carry that through the off day and
into Boston would have been difficult. Hopefully,
with the way we have our pitching lined up, we can
start competing and have some good results.”
The New York
Yankees odds to win the American League pennant
remain around +450 or close to 5 to 1 odds (with a
payout of $450 for every $100 bet should they win).
The Detroit Tigers have the same odds to win while
Cleveland had odds of +300; the Los Angeles Angels
had odds of +350 and the Boston Red Sox were the
favorite to win at +140 odds. (see odds
