The 2008 Aussie Millions will take place at the Crown Casino in Melbourne with play already having begun January 4, but the real excitement will get under way the week starting January 14.

The Aussie Millions is the largest poker tournament in the southern hemisphere and draws competitors from across the globe. The Aussie Millions will be televised courtesy of Fox Sports Net (FSN) and the Main Event features a guaranteed first prize of $1 million from an expected prizepool of over $5 million.
