The Lingerie Bowl was a controversial 2004 pay-per-view show that aired live during the halftime of Super Bowl XXXVIII. It featured scantily-clothed female models playing tackle American football. It was originally sponsored by the American automobile manufacturer Dodge which withdrew due to criticism. The players in the game wore short shorts, a sports bra and some protective gear. The presentation was produced by Horizon Productions and was not affiliated with the NFL. The retail cost to view the presentation was US$19.95.

Since that time the show has grown tremendously in popularity.  This year's hosts and hostesses include Dennis Rodman, Jenny McCarthy and Cindy Margolis.
