13
Year Old Steals Dads
Credit Card: Spends
$30,000 on Hookers,
XBox
Arizona Republican
Senator Jon Kyl has
long insisted that
online gambling
could result in
children opening
betting accounts by
using their parents
credit cards.
Of course, no
thought process was
paid to the idea
that most 13-year
olds (let alone
17-year olds) know
anything about
casino gambling (nor
would they want to).
And the
consideration that
these youths would
have to steal their
parents card never
really went into the
thought process
apparently.
Kyl
and a few of his
cronies passed the
Unlawful Internet
Gaming and
Enforcement Act
under the guise that
small children would
no longer be able to
gamble online -
unless of course
they want to bet the
ponies. Jon
Kyl ensured that
there was an
exemption for horse
racing and state
lotteries. Why
should any of us be
surprised. The
horse racing
lobbyists are among
the most powerful in
Washington.
But
those little
heathens still need
to use Mommy and
Daddy's stolen
credit card for
something, right?
Enter
13-year old Ralph
Hardy of Newark,
Texas.
Seems
he used Dad's credit
card to purchase
hookers - a grand
total of $30,000!
He
paid prostitutes to
spend the evening
playing Xbox video
games with him and
his friends in a
Texas motel.
According to a
British report in
Money.co.uk,
when a delivery man
brought stockpiles
of Dr Pepper, Fritos
and Oreos to their
room, the boys asked
where they could
pick up chicks. The
kids indicated that
they would be
willing to pay big
money for escort
services following a
win at a "World of
Warcraft"
tournament.
When
Newark police
allegedly arrived on
the scene, the
report says they
discovered $3,000 in
cash, several
electronic gadgets,
an Xbox video
console with a heap
of games and two
local call girls.
According to the
story, the
$1,000-per-night
hookers, released
without charge, said
the boys told them
they were people of
stunted development
who were traveling
with a circus. The
kids claimed state
law prevents
disabled workers to
be discriminated
against, so the
prostitutes had no
right to deny their
services.
Ralph's ambition is
to one day become a
politician....like
Jon Kyl perhaps.
