Millionaire Republican says immigrants should stop complaining

Wayne Root says It's time for a day without producers, owners and taxpayers.  Root is a sports service owner and plans to run for Senator of Nevada in the future.

This Millionaire Republican sat watching the "Day Without Immigrants" protest marches across the USA on last Monday shaking my head in disbelief. For years I've been saying that the group that Nixon defined as "The Silent Majority" - educated, law-abiding, tax-paying, married-with-family, Republican producers and owners (homeowners, business owners, stock owners)- should hold our own nationwide protest. We should form our own union (The American Association of Producers, Owners & Taxpayers: AAPOT). We are the ones that form the backbone of America- not illegal immigrants. We are the ones that produce and consume virtually everything in America. Whether it be cars, boats, homes, commercial property, businesses, vacations, plane flights, sporting events, Broadway shows, furniture, clothing, art- whatever it's the American producers and owners that make it happen. We are the people that buy and sell the real estate, stocks, businesses, insurance- all the very things that form the foundation of America. The illegal immigrant march proved absolutely NOTHING on Monday. They managed to close a few stores, supermarkets, bodegas and Mexican restaurants- all in Hispanic and poor neighborhoods. Big deal. Who cares? They stopped virtually nothing that mattered (with the possible exception of a few trucks and ships that stalled the shipping of goods for the day).

But if you want to see one group prove that they matter to American, try the group Richard Nixon called "The Silent Majority". Try the group President George W. Bush calls "the ownership class".  Or better yet, try a day without the group that I call (in my book "Millionaire Republicanān"): OWNERS, ENTREPRENEURS AND SALESMEN!!! Those groups are the true backbone of America! The top 1% of taxpayers pay well over 34% of all taxes. The top 10% pay well over 50%. The top 25% pay virtually ALL the taxes in America. You know - taxes - that strange thing that these illegal immigrants think falls off trees. That mysterious thing that pays for their roads, ¦their public transportation, their children's free public education, ¦their entitlements, ¦their hospital bills. Where did you think it came from? From the producers, owners and taxpayers of America.

These illegal immigrant groups think they showed us their value by voluntarily taking a day off from work? How about if we show them what it's like to be FORCED to take a day off from work? How about if the producers and owners just shut down America for the day or better yet for the week. Instead of the inmates running the asylum, how about if we turned the tables? How about we organize the management! Instead of the employees shutting down the construction sites.  How about if the owners of the construction company shut down the sites? Instead of the employees refusing to work at the supermarkets and bodegas. How about if the storeowners told the employees not to bother showing up for work today? How about the homeowners telling their maids, nannies, gardeners, deliverymen and handymen not to show up for work today? How about the farm owners telling their farmhands not to bother to come to work today? How about if the doctors shut down the emergency rooms to indigent and illegal immigrant patients for the day? What if the schools refused entry for the day to the children of illegal immigrants? How about if every CEO and business owner tells their employees- legal and illegal- EVERYONE not to show up today? How about if the car dealers shut down? And the real estate brokers, stockbrokers, mortgage brokers and insurance brokers? These groups are the ones that buy, sell and trade everything there is to buy, sell and trade in America. They are (by and large) white, wealthy, privileged (at least according to liberal Democrat propaganda) and Republican. I think it's high time that they prove their value to America.

But alas, it's all a fantasy. It will never happen. Because these groups (producers, owners and taxpayers) are the very definition of capitalists. We don't waste our time marching, complaining or protesting. We have families to support, businesses to run, taxes to pay, mortgages due, payrolls to make, future college educations to save for, and BILLS TO PAY! Millionaire Republicans cannot afford to take days off to protest (now that's ironic). We have no time to complain. We have to pay the bills- whether life is fair or not. That's precisely why Nixon called us "The Silent Majority". Because the people who march and protest and scream the loudest, obviously don't have busy schedules or valuable jobs. They don't have to meet weekly payrolls.

We are the owners of America for good reason- we earned it! We worked our butts off to own the things we do. We didn't protest to get them. We didn't ask the government to give them to us. We went out and fought the good battle to earn and achieve the American Dream. We did everything society asked of us- we studied hard, got good grades, worked two jobs while attending college, didn't smoke, drink or do drugs, didn't get anyone pregnant at age 18, didn't commit any crimes or join any gangs. We did all the right things (excuse the pun) and made all the right choices (I guess we are pro choice after all)- and our reward is the American Dream. It's still alive- but only to those who fight for it and work for it and earn it. It isn't easy and it sure isn't always fair. But the opportunity is there.

But you'll have to be patient- it takes years of education and climbing the corporate ladder. Or years to build your small business. Sometimes it takes more than one generation. My great grandfather was a Russian peasant. My grandfather died in the poor ward of a Brooklyn hospital. My father was a blue collar butcher. Today I'm a self-made Millionaire Republican. It took a century for the Root family to achieve overnight success. But we did it. We could not have done it anywhere but America. One thing I can assure you- you won't get it by complaining, marching or protesting. The reason I'm a Millionaire Republican is because I understand that if the groups out protesting, marching and complaining, spent more time working and less time protesting they'd soon have nothing to complain or protest about! That my friends is what America and capitalism are all about. God Bless America.
